The Merapi Erruption 2010

On 26th of November 2010, a terrible accident in Jogjakarta. One of the volcano was explode after the status was raised become wary. It began to explode in the nightfall. The blast was heard around the foot of the mountain. It made the people who live near Merapi had to evacuate from they home.

The area which located 20km from Merapi had to be emptied because Merapi released heat cloud or usually named as "wedhus gembel". It made so many victims. They died because the heat of the cloud which can reach 300 degrees.

The Merapi explotion made the ash rain fall around the area near Merapi, such as Sleman, Magelang, Boyolali and Klaten. The ash was dangerous for our healthy. So, the people should use mask.

Merapi explotion made so many loss but it also bring profit for us because of the volcanic material which can be used as building materials.
